While a person may be all you see, behind them lies digital imprints of different personalities, brands, or ideas with different quirks and colours. A person who has multiple personas they take on according to where they are or who they’re seeing.
This project has looked at this as though you’re defining a destiny that isn’t for you – but what if it was? What If the decisions you made were calculated, tactful. You took on a brand or persona in the name of getting what you want, because you know that being authentic or genuine isn’t always the way to go about it?
Anybody who has taken on a freelance or artistic brand may have felt the separation from their own name that I have felt before, in the sense that your name becomes a product that people can buy.
